This morning, I was shocked to hear that Steve Irwin had died.
To me, the man was a legend, and the perfect example to show why you should always try and do what you love.
Its ironic that he died by a Stringrey though, after all the deadly creatures he had worked with, I mean, who can forget him being chased by a Komodo dragon in the middle of nowhere
The reason I chose this shot for Stevo, was because looking at it, the vast majority of people would had squirmed at getting close to a spider. Wouldn't go near one, some would kill it, others would scream.
Steve though, worked with much bigger and dangerous creatures, loved every minute, and made us appreciate the animal.
Love him or hate him, you had to respect him for what he did to being wildlife to our screens and make us appreciate them. I won't even mention all the conservation work he had done.
