Disaster struck.

I went on my PC on Saturday morning, everything was fine. I had to go to the garden centre (lol), whilst there, I did some photography.

I came home and switche don my PC, and it wouldn't boot up. It kept asking me to insert the correct boot disk. I rang Tech Help, and when it was all said and done, we worked out it was my main hard-drive that had gone. So I had to have a new one installed. Didn't cost anything as I'm insured, BUT

Like a fool, I hadn't made any backups of my original camera files, or my finished photos in around 8-10 months. So all my 'acceptable' photography, and my better shots, along with the originals, are all gone. I'm going to see if they can be retrieved, but if they can't, its around 100+ hours of photography gone.

So, the lesson is - Backup your files!

I took this shot whilst at the garden centre. I don't usually do much photography of this nature, but I took a few shots that were ok that i'll post.
