I took this shot a while back, at a Beach. There are some more photos on this blog from the same beach (look through the Archives posts)
So, I was out doing some photography, and then the wind started to pick up. These guys were out having some fun, and as the wind picked up, the loose, top layer of stand started to fly by.
I like how the central person seems to be stuck, or confused by whats going on.
Glad I came to the comment. The ground looks really weird and I could not guess how it was caused. But of cause...blowing sand.
This is a funny shot : the guy looks like he thinks the sand is on fire! I get this sandstorm effect on the beach at Camber sometimes but have not been able to capture it as well as you here. Worries me about sand getting in the camera, though.
